Active tourism - what is it?
Increasingly, active rest or active tourism is promoted in society, which is one and the same. What is active rest, what does it suggest, which species includes? And can a person who regularly jog around the house consider himself an active tourist? Active rest involves physical activity in which muscles, body energy, and emotions are involved.
Active tourism is divided into land and water recreation. The overland view includes hiking, mountaineering or rock climbing, mountain climbing, cycling, skiing and skiing on flat terrain and in the woods, and perhaps even sledding and skating. Horse riding, as well as hunting and fishing are also active tourism. To aquatic species include diving, surfing, rafting. I would like to highlight the third category of outdoor activities: skydiving and hang-gliding can be called an aerial type of tourism.
Leisure activities do not have to be associated with a trip away from home. This may be the usual walking in the park, or an evening run in the stadium. Sport and recreation are very closely intertwined. In either case, exercise is experienced. Only here positive emotions active rest brings much more. Especially if the tourist is going to actively relax, for example, in the mountains, to the sea or the ocean. The choice of location belongs directly to the traveler himself.
Leisure activities can be combined with an inspection of natural and cultural sites. Experienced tourists identify several regions that are most suitable for outdoor activities and tourism:
These regions are perfectly adapted for active, and even extreme rest. In addition, there is a lot of natural, historical, architectural sights on their territory, so you can combine pleasant and useful activities. You can put together several types of outdoor activities: for example, if a tourist is attracted by mountains, you can go hiking and horseback riding, downhill on skis or snowboard, mountaineering and hiking in the mountains, as well as rafting on mountain rivers. Complex tourism, when a traveler combines several types of recreation at once, is gaining momentum more and more. Thus it is necessary to take into account the season, as well as the climate and features of the selected region.
If you plan a comprehensive tourism in the Caucasus, then you should choose April or May. At this time, there is still snow in the mountains, and spring is already blooming below, walks, hikes, mountaineering will be interesting. The rivers are the most affluent, it will delight lovers of rafting along mountain waterways. Approximately the same picture develops in the Altai and the Southern Urals. And in the north of the Ural mountains, you can still complete the ski season.
In Karelia, hiking and equestrian tourism are combined with hunting and fishing. Tourists are happy to visit such natural and cultural objects as the islands of Valaam on Ladoga and Kizhi on Lake Onega. And since Karelia is a lake region, fishing and hunting here cause a lot of impressions.
The nature of Sakhalin and Kamchatka is primarily for walking or horseback riding. Since there are few cultural objects, nature is the main wealth of these regions. Walking to the volcanoes, swimming in the hot springs and fishing will appeal to travelers.
Active tourism in Russia is gaining momentum. More and more people prefer active rest to passive, because the main thing is to receive a charge of vigor, energy and positive emotions.
